Vanishing, Emerging
그래픽은 완벽하지도 정돈되지도 않은 불완전한 상태이다. 타이틀의 타이포그래피는 비정형적이고 자유롭게 조합된 형태로 구성되었으며, 투명하면서도 불투명한 볼륨과 흐릿한 블러를 통해 기억의 흔적과 잔상의 이미지를 형상화했다. 그 안의 그라데이션 속 다양한 색들은 개인의 각기 다른 무한하고 아름다운 내면의 공간이다. 그리고 폭파 속 소멸하는 부스러진 조각들과 동시에 생성되는 몽글몽글한 희망의 가능성을 보여준다. 또한, 서서히 변하는 이미지를 통해 반복되는 소멸과 생성을 표현하고 싶었다. 뚜렷하고 명확하지 않고 꿈처럼 몽환적일 수 있지만 그래도 밝고 희망적인 이미지 상상하며 작업하였다. 완벽하지 않지만, 그 불완전함 속에서 가능한 것들의 아름다움을 찾아내려는 의도가 담겨 있다.
The graphic design is imperfect and disorderly, in a state of incompleteness. The typography of the title was designed in an unconventional, freely combined form, and through transparent yet opaque volumes and blurred edges, I symbolized the traces of memory and afterimages. The various colors within the “gradients” represent the infinite, beautiful inner spaces of individuals. They also depict the crumbling fragments that disappear in the explosion, along with the softly emerging possibility of hope. I wanted to express the recurring process of destruction and creation through gradually changing images. The images may not be clear and distinct, but they evoke a dreamlike, ethereal quality, still bright and hopeful in their imagination. The intention behind the work is to find beauty in the imperfections, seeking what is possible within them.
