North Gyeonggi Children's Museum Leaflet & Signage System
경기북부어린이박물관의 공간 안내 리플렛 및 사이니지 디자인은 ‘숲에서 꿈꾸는 어린이’를 주제로 꿈과 별, 나무와 숲을 핵심 모티브로 삼아 아이덴티티를 구축했다. 나뭇잎과 기둥을 조합하여 나무의 형태를 만들어가는 과정에서 메인 한글 타이포그래피와 픽토그램을 디자인하고 각 공간의 명칭과 성격에 맞춰 고유한 나무 아이콘을 완성했으며, 이렇게 개별적으로 디자인된 나무들이 한데 모여 '경기북부어린이박물관'이라는 하나의 풍성한 숲을 이루도록 기획했다. 또한 아이들의 눈높이에 맞춘 따뜻한 자연 색상을 메인 컬러로 차용해 주요 전시 시설은 물론 관람객을 위한 편의시설 및 서비스 구역의 픽토그램까지 직관적인 색상을 통일하여 부여했고, 확립된 그래픽 모티프와 컬러 시스템을 리플렛부터 내부 사이니지 시스템까지 일관되게 적용해 관람객에게 통일된 시각적 정체성을 전달하는 동시에 쾌적한 길 찾기 경험을 제공한다.
The spatial guide leaflet and signage design for the North Gyeonggi Children's Museum establishes its identity under the theme, "Children Dreaming in the Forest," utilizing dreams, stars, trees, and the forest as its core motifs. By combining leaves and trunks to form trees, we designed the main Korean typography and pictograms, completing unique tree icons tailored to the name and characteristics of each space. These individually designed trees were intended to come together to form a single, lush forest that represents the museum. Furthermore, adopting a main palette of warm, natural colors tailored to children's perspectives, we assigned a unified and intuitive color system to the pictograms for major exhibition facilities, as well as amenities and services. By consistently applying these established graphic motifs and color systems from the printed leaflets to the internal signage system, the design delivers a cohesive visual identity to visitors while providing a pleasant wayfinding experience.
